On November 22, Lin Yichong - Chairman of CHEC met Sanwo-Olu - Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria, who visited CHEC’s headquarters, in the company of Wu Di - Vice President of CHEC, and relevant personnel of the CHEC Market Development Department, Industrial Investment and Operation Business Department and Central Africa Regional Center.
Lin Yichong welcomed the delegation led by state Governor Sanwo-Olu and conveyed thanks to the government of Lagos State for its strong support. And Mr. Lin also gave a detailed presentation of the progress and follow-up plan of the Lekki Deep Sea Port Project. He said that CHEC attached great importance to the market of Lagos State and would like to participate in local infrastructure investment and construction. In addition, CHEC would like to consolidate and deepen the infrastructure partnership with the state government.
Governor Sanwo-Olu highly recognized the strength of CHEC, expressed his gratitude for CHEC’s achievements and its trust in Lagos state and participation in the investment of Lekki Deep Sea Port. He said that the current state government would devote itself to creating a better investment and business environment, make good plans for major infrastructure projects, as well as strengthen bilateral cooperation and establish a strong business partnership with CHEC.
The both parties also discussed about other projects and reached a series of consensuses.
