On October 19, the College of Occupational Health and Technology of Cuanza Sul in Angola issued a thank-you letter to CHEC Road Repair Project Department in Angola, appreciating the efforts the project department had provided in giving voluntary professional safety knowledge training for the teachers and students of the school since this June. The College of Occupational Health and Technology of Cuanza Sul, located in Sumbe, capital of Cuanza Sul, is one of the key vocational health colleges in Cuanza Sul. Since its establishment in 2006, the college has sent a large number of outstanding graduates to Cuanza Sul and the surrounding areas. Benguela - President of the College expressed his heartfelt gratitude to CHEC for its supporting the development of local education with practical action. He said that the professional safety knowledge training provided by the project department is of great significance to expand the students' occupational health knowledge and promote the development of local health education. Since June, the project department has used internationally accepted training courseware to provide professional safety knowledge training for teachers and students of the college on weekends, and also designed a bilingual safety knowledge booklet for local students. This professional safety training has benefited hundreds of teachers and students.
